Okuma America announces new member of Partners in THINC
ABB Robotics joins collaborative network of industry players.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Okuma America has announced that ABB Robotics has joined the Partners in THINC network of companies.
ABB manufactures and supplies robots, robot software, peripheral equipment, process equipment, modular manufacturing cells and service tasks such as welding, handling, assembling and finishing.
Their target industries are automotive, energy, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage.
Jeff Estes, director of Partners in THINC said in a statement, “ABB’s technical expertise makes them a great addition to Partners in THINC as we strive to bring manufacturing solutions to companies across the country.”
Demonstrations will be available at the Okuma Tech Center in Houston in early 2013.
Partners in THINC is a collaborative network of over 40 industry companies who work to solve problems and determine new ideas for real-world manufacturers. Other member companies include, Sandvik Coromant, Iscar, Schunk, and Fanuc Robotics.
