Blum-Novotest celebrates staff retirement, taps new technical director

Blum-Novotest, a Texas-based manufacturer of testing and measurment equipment, celebrated the retirement of Randy Rau.

Rau began his career at Blum-Novotest in 2006 as regional sales and service manager and held a variety of technical positions in the company over the last 16 years.

“Randy will be greatly missed,” says Lilian Barraud, president of Blum-Novotest. “His technical understanding of the Blum products and how to integrate them into a variety of machine-tools and CNCs was valued by all of us here and particularly by all the customers he served. We wish him great happiness and luck in his retirement.”

Bob Blunk, currently service manager, will be promoted to technical director and will take on Rau’s responsibilities.
