Mitsui Seiki celebrates 90th anniversary

Machine tool builder Mitsui Seiki hosted a formal dinner to celebrate its 90th anniversary. The event included speakers and entertainment in the Grand Ballroom of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Tokyo.

At the event Mr. Tetsuji Okuda, president, welcomed the 250 guests in attendance. He was followed by Mr. Koichi Miyata, chairman of the board of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation; Akihiro Teramachi, CEO of THK Co. Ltd; Yoshiharu Inaba, president & CEO of Fanuc Corporation; Yuji Nagao, president of Yamazen Corporation; and Osamu Shinohara, president of Mitsui & Co. Machine Tech Ltd.

The legendary Japanese jazz singer Yasuko Agawa performed for guests. Seizo Kawabe, Senior Managing Director of Mitsui Seiki Kogyo, offered closing remarks.
