SME, the nonprofit committed to accelerating new manufacturing technology adoption and building North America’s talent and capabilities, has named three additive manufacturing (AM) professionals to its Additive Manufacturing Technical Community Leadership Committee.

Here are the three new committee members:

“These additive manufacturing experts are on the leading edge of technologies and processes that help improve AM products, bringing them to market faster and more cost-effectively,” said Stacey DelVecchio, president, StaceyD Consulting and chair of SME’s Additive Manufacturing Technical Community Leadership Committee. “Their presence on the leadership committee will help us advance AM technology more quickly and will positively impact its adoption across industry.”

The role of the SME AM Technical Community Leadership Committee Advisors is to provide timely and expert guidance to SME on AM activities, initiatives, and content to best serve the AM community. The AM Advisors also serve as “faces of the industry” for SME. These three new advisors join a group of 12 other professionals in leading the AM community.
