Emuge Corp.'s TiNox-Cut end mills cut difficult-to-machine materials

Emuge Corp. has expanded its TiNox-Cut end mill line, designed for machining demanding materials such as INCONEL and nickel alloys, titanium, and stainless steel.

The 5-flute N model is an AlCr-coated, coolant-fed tool for cutting at high feed rates. It has a raised land that increases chip clearance and is suitable for roughing and finishing, especially for titanium and titanium alloys. Both square-end and corner-radius configurations are available.

The NF has a fine chipbreaker that reduces chip size and reduces cutting forces. The TiN/TiAlN-coated tool is available in both coolant-fed and solid designs and is suitable for semi-finishing nickel alloys. Weldon flat shank construction is available.

The Base end mill is a TiN/TiAlN-coated tool for roughing and finishing stainless and acid-resistant steels.

The Trochoidal TiN/TiAlN-coated end mill creates high metal removal rates, the company states. Its chipbreaker reduces stress and vibration when machining difficult materials such as titanium and stainless steel. It is coolant-fed and offered in square-end and corner-radius configurations. Weldon flat shank construction is available.

All end mills in this line are made from an ultra-fine, micro-grain solid carbide.

The line includes tools that are available in inch sizes from 0.25 to 1 in. dia., and in stub, standard, long, and extra-long lengths.
