Arno Werkzeuge USA has introduced the SA series of cutting tools and inserts for grooving and part-off or cutoff operations. This modular system uses a single toolholder, which turns into different tool variants by simply changing the support blade and clamp.
The line of tools also includes precision-ground, 2- and 3-edged cutting inserts in numerous designs.
It includes a monoblock-, modular-, and blade-style system for radial grooving and parting-off up to 140 mm dia. The monoblock holder is used with numerous double-sided inserts, including the Arno SA16, SA17, SA24, SA35, and SA40 in widths of 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 mm.
