The L.S. Starrett Co. enhanced, highly accurate 2900 series electronic indicators introduced

The L.S. Starrett Co. has released the 2900 series of electronic digital indicators. The new series includes the 2900 electronic and W2900 electronic wireless models, which feature true absolute sensor technology that minimizes the chance of data loss, glass scales, accuracy to +/- 0.00005 in., and IP67 protection.

A newly designed 4-in. range model is available, and all indicators have rechargeable batteries.

The indicators offer users a choice of features from basic to advanced or selectable resolution, and all models feature data output for statistical process control (SPC).

According to the manufacturer, these indicators have an intuitive design and layout that is easy to learn and use, in addition to positive, tactile-feel button activation and a large, easy-to-read LCD.

Selectable resolution models, fixed ratio measurement systems, 1-µm resolution, and metric-only versions are also available. Models have origin set and zero set, counting direction switching (±), true absolute sensor technology in the 2900-1 and 2900-6 models, are compatible with 25 series indicator backs, and all indicators are CE compliant.

Both the 2900 and W2900 series are available in ½-, 1-, 2-, and 4-in. models; inch-metric models in ½, 1, and 2 in. (12 mm, 25 mm, and 50 mm), and metric-only models in 12 mm, 25 mm, and 50 mm ranges.
