Sodick, Inc. will be showcasing the latest innovative EDM and HSM technology in booth E-5102. New models and features will be presented including cost friendly Wire and Sinker machines offering extreme work piece capacity and rigid linear motor technology, a booth highlight, standard on all displayed machines, ensuring the highest in industry machining performance and precision.
Sodick will display a complete line of wire EDM’s, including the top selling cost efficient VZ Series, the new advanced SL series which incorporates the latest industry leading SPW control, the extreme capacity AQ Series and the ’ultra’ precision AP Series with micro wire and oil dielectric technology.
The Sinker EDM range will be represented by the AG Series displaying rigid linear motor powered high speed ‘no flush’ machining realizing superior part finish and precision and the popular AD Series which will include an addition of a market winning model to the range.
An automated machining cell concept combining a TT1-400A (electrode machining center) and AG40L Sinker EDM Machine with an Erowa Robot Compact presents booth visitors with ‘live’ machining of a mold insert, integrating electrode production, EDM machining and high-precision high-speed milling in one cell.
For the more demanding user, the rigid linear motor driven 40,000 rpm HS650L bridge style high speed milling machine will demonstrate the ultimate in precision and surface finish capabilities.
