Koike Aronson has introduced the Plate-Fab cutting machine to give small fabricators more production options. It can be configured with one plasma cutting torch and/or one oxyfuel torch.
The machine includes a unitized, double-walled downdraft table that isolates sparks and fumes while providing insulation that reduces heat transfer from the torch to the machine. The downdraft table also has removable clean-out pans that help reduce the time needed for cleaning.
The optional unitized water table reduces smoke, sparks, and dust and allows the operator to set the correct water level using pneumatics.
The machine handles plates from 5 to 6 ft. wide and 10 to 12 ft. long in thicknesses up to 2 in.
